RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

1. General Policy for Food Products

Because our products are food items, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds for opened or used products, in line with FDA food safety guidelines.

2. Exceptions: Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

We will accept returns or provide refunds or replacements in the following situations:

  • The product arrives damaged (e.g., spilled, broken seal, visible contamination).

  • You receive the incorrect product or quantity.

  • The product is defective (e.g., packaging defect affecting safety).

To qualify, you must:

  • Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide photographic evidence of the issue (e.g., damaged packaging, product label, shipping box).

  • Include your order number and a brief description of the problem.

3. How to Submit a Claim

To request a return, refund, or replacement:

  1. Email daniel@eijutea.com with the subject line “Return/Refund Request – Order #[your order number]”.

  2. Include:

    • Your order number

    • Photos of the product and packaging

    • A short description of the issue

  3. We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

4. Refund Process and Timeline

If your claim is approved:

  • We will issue a refund to your original payment method, or send a replacement product at our discretion.

  • Refunds typically appear within 5–7 business days after approval, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Opened or Used Products

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed.

  • Products returned due to change of mind, taste preference, or incorrect quantity ordered by the customer.

6. Wholesale Orders

For wholesale customers:

  • All sales are final once shipment is confirmed and leaves our control.

  • Claims for damaged or incorrect wholesale shipments must follow the same 48‑hour reporting window and photographic evidence requirement.

  • Wholesale returns or replacements are handled case‑by‑case under our wholesale agreement.
